Excited.

Lots of fun things coming up. The next three months are bound to be amazing. One of my top ten humans is coming to France-it's official.

Hello, Goodbye, Please, Thank you, Beer, Wine.

Apparently, the words listed above are the first that I master when traveling in a foreign country. I know, because I tested it multiple times over this most recent vacation (Feb. 20-March 8; keep in mind the French school year is divided into periods of 7 wks schooling, 2 wks vacation). I was super lucky in two respects: 1) I chose my dream itinerary and miraculously, all the transport tickets were SO CHEAP that I didn't have to stray from it at all, and 2) the whole trip went off without a hitch--I am not included a nearly-missed connection in Germany, because that was the airline's fault, not mine. Thank God I am a good runner, but I do not have very fond memories of my second flight that day...it was very sweaty.

The itinerary: Aix for one night-Paris-Amsterdam-Prague-Budapest-Munich.

We had a great hostel in Prague (Czech Inn-that's punny-linked with St. Christopher's Hostels, which have always been amazing for me), which allowed us to meet tons of cool people. On the free walking tour we did one morning, we met Lynn, a sweet girl from mainland China who was straight up just bouncin' around Europa by herself. She happened to be in the same dorm as Dania, so that friendship was locked down, but my dorm happened to be REALLY dope. It was divided into like two little rooms, one with two bunks (4 beds) and a desk, and one with 3 bunks (6 beds) and a desk.
So yeah, Prague was pretty, but my fondest vacation memories are courtesy of these jokers:

By the way, these photos cut off at Prague. Oops.
